Stop Press: Spun-Light matter explains basic principles of Quantum Mechanics
The Quantum Wavefunction, previously unexplained, is a consequence of spun-light particle structure.

For almost a century now, the arcane science of Quantum Mechanics has been practiced with an exceptional level of success in predicting experimental outcomes. It has brought us numerous technological innovations, changing our lives in all sorts of ways that would have been unimaginable 100 years ago.
This paradigm shift was brought about primarily through Erwin Schrödinger’s wave equation, which defines the development through time of a quantum wavefunction. The wavefunction describes the state of a scenario involving one or more entities such as atoms, subatomic particles, photons of electromagnetic energy; manipulating that wavefunction with suitable mathematical techniques has led to development of all these wonders we take for granted in our present-day lives, from cellphones to MRI scanners to satellite TV and all the rest.
Remarkably, all of these scientific breakthroughs made possible by Quantum Mechanics have been achieved without anybody - not even the most erudite of Nobel-prizewinning quantum physicists - having any idea what certain of the terms in the quantum wavefunction represent, or where they come from.
Until now.
The spun-light nature of matter, as presented in this Substack thread and in the books & articles on the website transfinitemind.com, shows that the behaviour of matter particles (including subatomic particles) is determined by the cyclic energy flows that form those particles. This has been established for some 20 years now and recorded in the mainstream peer-reviewed scientific press some 13 years ago. Now, totally independently, another researcher (Giles Hayter) has produced a mathematical tour de force, an in-depth rationale for all the findings of Quantum Mechanics, from the wave equation and quantum wavefunction to the characteristics and behaviours of subatomic particles. This rationale starts with the premise that a subatomic particle such as an electron is formed from energy cycling on the spot - as defined in the spun-light understanding of matter. All of the known results of Quantum Mechanics follow from this - along with the finding, as expressed frequently on this channel, that Relativity is a subjective effect, rather than an objective reality.
The maths showing the underlying rationale for the equations of Quantum Mechanics can be found at www.gileshayter.com. This page carries pdfs for Unity Theory, First Steps and various other writings. Unity Theory is a very extensive file giving derivation of all well-known QM equations and results - in quite weighty degree-level maths which require at least some understanding of the function notation used in QM. First Steps is a gentler introduction to the main points - though still requiring ability to get one’s head around fairly challenging mathematical concepts (the author goes to some lengths to make the experience as uncomplicated as possible, given the nontrivial nature of the subject matter).
It’s no coincidence that both myself and Hayter have chosen the same name - Unity Theory - for our respective views on Reality (the overview of my version can be found at https://ihs.ac/Theory.htm). Our respective approaches are very different, but the conclusions reached in both cases, at least in respect of the cyclic-energy-flow structure of material particles as features of some underlying substrate, are virtually identical. Whilst we hold differing views on some aspects of this Reality, such as ‘nonlocal’ interactions (I’ll be posting an article on this topic shortly), these have no bearing on the powerful arguments for the quantum mechanical rationale supporting both perspectives on The Unity Theory.
I’m delighted by this further consolidation of the overwhelming evidence for the Spun-Light perspective on our material reality, which is now substantially more well-founded than the conventional Standard Model currently accepted and applied in mainstream science. I’m looking forward to the time when this new perspective is widely adopted, opening the way to a radically new and beneficial understanding of ourselves, our world, our universe and our relationship to it.
In the meantime, on with the show! My next post (honest!) is Disentangling Quantum Entanglement: It’s time to get real about Nonlocal Realism.
Meanwhile, be sure to check out Transfinite Mind for a wealth of free resources, including non-technical articles and presentations, as well as books to suit every level of scientific (or non-scientific) background.
Also, if you find these articles interesting and thought-provoking, and you know others who may also find them of interest, please be sure to point those others in this direction. Thanks.
Back with you again shortly!
