A great New Year’s Resolution for 2026 would be to usher in a new understanding of our physical reality supported by cause-&-effect explanations. What better gift to hand down to your children & grandchildren - and their children & grandchildren - than a perspective on Reality which could bring untold new treasures in the form of scientific possibilities maybe hidden till now by possible misinterpretation of the ‘signs and wonders’.
[Let’s not forget that insistence that the Earth was the centre of the universe (as it seemed), against well-informed advice, held back the advance of science for 1800 years.]

Relativity Reconsidered (The 4th Way)
A 5-minute read (one side of A4) giving the essence of 28 years of research into a possible causal explanation for effects attributed to Special Relativity (as opposed to the conventional view, for which it seems no clear causal mechanism has ever been identified). This very clear logical explanation has apparently NEVER been considered in the scientific literature, arguably restricting scientific progress indefinitely.

For 120 years Special Relativity (SR) has proved totally reliable. It has always come up with the right answers.
But are they for the right reasons? Might there be gaps in the picture SR is giving us of our physical reality? How would we know?
Could there be a different perspective on observed outcomes that would give insights into totally new aspects of the universe we inhabit – and so also of who we are?
May we be missing real opportunities by simply ignoring such an alternative perspective? Is it really good science – or good for humanity – to regard ANY scientific belief as ‘a done deal’? Is it not the case, rather, that (as is the view of noted physicist Carlo Rovelli, as cited by Wikipedia) “scientific thinking is based on the continuous questioning of any truth”? Can humanity afford to ignore a new well-supported take on SR, not even give it an airing, when we have no idea what doors it might open – doors we maybe didn’t even realise existed?

Christmastime, anytime – the humble Muon heralds a brand-new view of Time / Relativity / The Cosmos.
It seems maybe Relativity has her Christmas stocking inside-out with respect to time. Get yours the right way round with the message of the muons. Who knows what gifts a few wise men, and women, might bring our way with this new insight from the heavens? (Muons rain down on Earth from the upper reaches of our atmosphere.)
